These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the participation of Expert Contributors and their associated businesses (“you”, “your”) in the Eye Dropper Academy platform (“we”, “our”, “the Academy”). By registering as an Expert Contributor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 You must be over 18 years of age and have the authority to represent your business.
1.2 You confirm that all information provided to us is accurate, up to date, and not misleading in any way.
1.3 By submitting a profile or course content, you warrant that you have the right to use and publish all material provided, including text, logos, and media.
2.1 You acknowledge that your listing and participation on the Eye Dropper Academy platform does not constitute employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture with Eye Dropper Academy.
2.2 Any business dealings, services, or relationships established as a result of visibility or interaction through Eye Dropper Academy are entirely independent of the Academy. We are not a party to, nor liable for, any agreements or outcomes that result from such dealings.
3.1 You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit (including course material, profile information, and business information) complies with Australian law and does not infringe on intellectual property rights or contain defamatory, discriminatory, or offensive material.
3.2 You must not use the platform to engage in or promote illegal or unethical activity.
3.3 We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content submitted, at our sole discretion.
4.1 Eye Dropper Academy makes no guarantees regarding the exposure, engagement, or success resulting from your listing.
4.2 To the maximum extent permitted under Australian law:
We accept no responsibility or liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your participation.
You participate in the platform entirely at your own risk.
4.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eye Dropper Academy, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, or liability (including legal fees) arising out of:
Your breach of these Terms
Your participation in the platform
Any business dealings or disputes with third parties connected through the platform
4.4 In the event of a dispute, claim, or legal proceeding involving your participation in the Academy, you agree to be solely responsible for all related legal fees, costs, and expenses incurred by you or by us as a result of your actions.
5.1 We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove your account, expert profile, and any associated listings at any time, without prior notice and without the need to provide a reason.
5.2 If your access is removed, you will no longer be visible on the platform and will not be entitled to any form of refund or compensation.
5.3 You may withdraw your participation as an Expert Contributor by providing a minimum of 14 days’ written notice. During this time, your listing will remain live unless we choose to remove it sooner.
6.1 You retain ownership of your own intellectual property provided to the Academy, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, publish, and display your content on our platform and in promotional materials.
6.2 You may request content removal at any time in writing. We will endeavour to remove content within a reasonable timeframe.
7.1 We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
These Terms & Conditions are current as at 15 April 2025 and are subject to change without notice.
